Passbook has the cool feature to alert iPhone users on the lock screen based on relevant location or time.

Pass items have capability to hold up to

• 10 locations (coordinates)
• 1 Date/time for the alerts.

Locations

In retail generally the Store locations are often more that 10.

The workaround for overcoming 10 locations limitation is to use iPhone App (if you have one) to update the Pass when user goes out of a certain Perimeter using iPhone Location services.

Below are the step to achieve dynamic locations on Pass item

1. Send first initial pass item with default locations
2. Once downloaded to user's Passbook.
3. Send a update notification to user's phone to update new pass with new Locations
4. If your company's App is installed you can constantly update the pass with new locations based on the user's location.

Date or time

2. Once downloaded to user's Passbook
3. Send update notification of new pass with new Date/time relevance.

Please use update functionality conservatively. You dont want to always show up on the lock screen it would be against terms and conditions.
